I would Like to Introduce my-Self. Hi my Name is Ken. I have been in the Construction Business 45 Yrs. I Started out as an Apprentice Carpenter When I was 17 Yrs old + I had Joined the Carpenters Union.
I went to Carpenter Apprenticeship School for 3½ Yrs. I then Went on my own. “HANDY MAN, No JOB too Big or Small, Call Ken”. I Started out Broken Window, Broken Door, Then the Investors Called on me + Asked me to Replace ALL the Windows, all the Doors, New Roof, Jack the Floors, Put the BathTub where the Toilet is + Put the Toilet Where the Sink was + So on.
I Priced the Job out. I turned in my Quote + Guess What? I Got the Job! I then Said to my Self I Can not do ALL this work by myself. I need help So I put an Ad in the Paper. Help Wanted all Trades. Well I then Put a Roofer on the Roof, A Plumber on the Plumbing, Window man on the Windows, Etc.
It Looked like everything was getting Done. So I Said to my Self, Well, I am going home to Answer the Phone to get more Jobs to Keep these guys Busy.
I found out What the guys True Qualifications were. + I found out Who I Could Depend on + Who I
I Stayed in the Business Throughout my 20's + my 30's. The jobs Continued to get bigger + bigger + I went Through Some good Times + had Some Tough Times Too.
I had Learned a lot about the Real Estate Business being in the Remodeling Business Dealing with the Investors + had Contemplated Changing Businesses for quite Some Time. When I finally Decided to Stay in the Remodeling Business I went On + got my Contractors License When I was 40 Yrs old + I have Now been Licensed for about 32 Years+ I have Stayed in Good Standing With the Contractors License Board ever Since.
Now that You are a little more Familiar with my Past + How I became the Proud owner of Handyman Express.

Prepare Yourself if you go for low Price Your Low Bid Contract will be Adding extras as the Job goes along. I Bid High, I am aware of the unforeseen Everything is in Writing No EXTRAS. Unless Otherwise Requested. Get 3 Bids I should be about the Middle of the Road. Sometimes I am the low Guy Sometimes I'm high. What I do at Handyman EXPRESS is to try my Best to Give you the Best Price Possible. I don't want to Over Estimate or Under Est. I Price out the job where I take my Time + do a good Job Not have to Rush It. But have the Job Completed in a Timely fashion. We would like to Create a Long working Relationship with every One of our Customers. I don't want to go in the middle of The Job + Say I made a Mistake I have to Charge You Extra. You Could Just Call Somebody out of the Paper + HOPE They do what they Say they Can do + hope they Don't Take Your money + Run.I hear Stories about how other Contractors have done, I however Can live Up to my Name. If something does not Come out Quite like we wanted to We will do it Again + get it right. We don't just walk away with the Job Left unsatisfactory.
